This article is a nostalgic look into Rochester's past. Pythodd is mentioned briefly on 1C and then again on 7C under "That's entertainment." Of note they point to the Pythodd as hosting jazz in the 30s, we knew the building was opened as Pythodd Hall then, but generally sources indicated the jazz began in the early 50s under Stewart Hendricks, Roy King, and Billy Tazzel.
